CHIANG MAI: The Northern MARVEL of THAILAND.

I LIKE TO BE SURPRISED. Fresh implications and plot twists erupt as a story unfolds. PLACES and PEOPLE develop backgrounds, CULTURE and HERITAGE adding depth and feeling. It gives the hands on learning. EXPLORING NEW THINGS give me thrills, excitement and above all things, I LEARNED.
.
It’s been a tiring day for me and I fall asleep while were moving up NORTH of THAILAND. I missed up everything, you know the scenic views that we passed by riding on a coach. We then arrived at CHIANG MAI one of the largest and most culturally significant city here in Thailand. Its VERY FAR from BANGKOK but of course we have several stop over and we stayed to several places. You have several options actually, via train, plane or a bus, but we opted to take the bus cause one of my friend know somebody from a bus line and give us discount for the travel and we can stop by anywhere we want. As our journey continues conquering the whole of Thailand we were now set to freshen up in our hotel here in Chiang Mai. As I went out from my hotel and proceeded to the lobby my companion is planning to go out and take a peek in this developing city. Though it lacks with the COSMOPOLITAN NATURE or AMBIANCE just like Bangkok but are a lot of historic and religious attractions here. Especially when you really need a NATURE TRIPPING ADVENTURE. What I like here is less pollution compared to Bangkok and the cooler climate which give you chills. So after touring the night scene in this place and a full pack dinner we ended up retiring to bed for indeed it was a tiring travel.
.
FIRST DAY, we decided to visit some temples and one of it is the WAT PHRATHAT DOI SETHUP which until now I just cant memorize it and need to ask somebody when I tried to tell or share this to anybody, He! He! It is one of the most famous temple here in the area and magnificently situated on the top of the hill giving you a superb view of the whole area and the city as well. We also visited some local museums such as the CHIANG MAI CITY ARTS AND CULTURAL CENTRE and THE CHAING MAI NATIONAL MUSEUM which provide us a better understanding of their rich culture and history.

SECOND DAY, we opted to a wilder side of the trip. We went into an adventure kinda exploration. We went to see some nearby national parks such as DOI INTHANON the highest mountain in Thailand for your info, went to do trekking, HUH! It showcase a lot of scenic views, waterfalls and lush landscape. Then the DOKMAI GARDEN were array of plants, vegetables and flowers are for display. Very educational which gives information about every plant species. There are also FOOD MARKETS and RESTAURANTS in the area.
.

THIRD DAY, We depart from the hotel early in the morning cause we will seeing some ELEPHANTS, He!He! about more that an hour travel from the city, we arrived at ELEPHANT NATURE PARK. Here I was been able to ride on the back of the elephant. That was a nice experience to me. I feel NATURE, I feel close to it and attached to it. We was’t been able to visit some local hill tribes because of the rain. It was a amazing day for me.
.

A new EXPERIENCE I could’t forget. Surely this experience will stay forever with me. CHIANG MAI’s ADVENTURE is really awesome. I know someday I will return to this marvelous paradise called THAILAND.
